The European Research Council (ERC) has decided that the project “From correlations to explanations: towards a new European prehistory” (COREX) will receive an ERC Synergy Grant 2020. The project’s host institution is the University of Gothenburg and the granted budget is €9,759,609. The grant is aimed at researchers who join up to four other researchers to work in synergy to jointly solve a research question. In total, 34 synergy teams are sharing more than 350 million EUR.
The Corex Project has been presented in The European Archaeologist (TEA), which is the newsletter of the EAA (European Association of Archaeologists).
